Add border to text using stroke
Lol. I found this out after I did the outer glow method for creating text borders. This way is so much easier, that I wouldn't be surprised if you found this out on your own. 001. Open or create a new image you are going to put your text on.002. Type your text with the Text tool. Make sure it is on a new layer.
003. Go to Layer >> Layer Style >> Stroke.004. Edit the settings however you like and press okay.
