Sketchy Tutorial

Ever wanted to make your pictures look "sketchy"? It's an easy effect that barely takes a minute to do. Here's how!

001. First, open the picture you want to use. Here is mine from Stock.Xchng:

002. Go to Select >> All then to Edit >> Copy.
003. Click File >> New. Make sure the background is white. Select OK.
004. Paste your image twice. It should look like this:

005. While keeping layer 2 active, click on the drop-down menu above the layers. It should say Normal. Go down and click on Color Dodge.
006. Go to Image >> Adjustments >> Desasturate.
006. Press Ctrl + I to invert the colors.

007. Select the second layer.
008. Go to Images >> Adjustments >> Desasturate again. Your picture will look like a total blank, or almost:

009. Now go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur. You can lower or raise the radius pixels however you like. Here is mine:

Congrats! You're all set! Remember to keep on experimenting to see how different images will come out.
